hi!  thanks for reading my blog!  it’s basically a chance for me to process my thoughts out loud and on purpose.  writing is so good for that.  how many things just pass by us that we don’t notice because we didn’t take time to think about it?  anyway, that’s why i have a blog. : )

my name is patty. i’m 32 years old. i am married to jeff, and we have 2 awesome little kids, gabe who is 5 and mia who is 3.  we live in laguna beach, ca, where jeff is a pastor at our little church by the sea.  we love it here.  i often struggle with the materialism of living in such an affluent town, but i’m learning to look past a lot of that stuff.  after all, as i heard recently, it’s not what we’re looking at, it’s what we’re looking with, right?  anyway, my life is amazing.  i really love it.  my family (extended too!) is something i am so thankful for.  many of them come up in my blogs quite often!  so enjoy!  and leave comments!  i love comments! : )
